Computer nerd, Joe, is stirred from his life of relative isolation and emotional caution by the death of his estranged father. He is left with a written testimony of a shocking story concerning his dead mother. Spurred into activity by his desire to seek justice he commences a search with increasingly dogged determination. He is aided in this quest by the enigmatic Jessie and her lovely daughter Tessa.
