- Memorable moment: watching Leonard Cohen live at the 02 with a dear friend when he sang “there is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in” a few weeks before going into hospital to have a brain tumour removed.
- Dislikes: Selfishness, stupidity, narrow mindedness, laziness. Bad food and grey days.
- Inspirations: Wisdom, talent and ability I could never have. Anger and wild coastlines.
- Favourite films: Anything with Donald Sutherland and Liam Neeson.
- Favourite places: A peaceful spot, comfy chair and catching the sun through a window.
- Favourite things: experiencing a new idea; wow moments.
- Challenges: staying in my swimming costume.
- Favourite car: don’t care but ambition is to own a motorhome to drive off to the coastlines whenever I want.
- Favourite food: seafood, shellfish and lamb in all shapes and forms.
- Favourite books: Moomins; Bottersnikes and Gumbles; Women Who Run with the Wolves; Robert Pirsig, Paulo Coelho, William Horwood.
- Things I have learned: not to mix champagne with other drinks; not all things can be fixed.
